Wrexham County Borough Council undertook a tender process to consolidate the number of disparate applications used across the organisation to manage Highways Assets. At the time, the Council were using a competitor’s system, which was not providing a complete or accurate picture of their asset data, with duplicate faults and jobs, making responses slow and inefficient. In adopting AMX, the Council was able to modernise its highway asset management processes, dramatically reducing reliance on paperwork by utilising the AMX mobile functionality. This enabled inspectors to access and update data in real-time, thereby improving the speed and accuracy of inspections.
